Supporting the Populations of the Six Target Species
The aim of the projct activity is to support the populations of six target species, all of which are categorized as the priority species under the EU Habitat Directive and the EU Bird Directive:

the endemic thistle Cirsium brachycephalum, critically endangered in the Czech Republic, the populations size within the project sites is 600–1000 individuals,

Danube Crested Newt (Triturus dobrogicus), critically endangered in the Czech Republic, the populations size within the project sites is 6–16 individuals,

European Fire-Bellied Toad, (Bombina bombina), endangered in the Czech Republic, the population size has recently shrunk on four of the project sites from thousands to lower tens of individuals,

Moor Frog (Rana arvalis), endangered in the Czech Republic, the population within the project sites includes tens of individuals,

Common Garganey (Anas querquedula), critically endangered in the Czech Republic, 3–9 breeding pairs within the project sites,

Common Redshank (Tringa totanus), critically endangered in the Czech Republic, 6–14 breeding pairs within the project sites.
